CANCELLED: AHRC-TORCH Public Engagement with Research Summer School

In response to the ongoing pandemic, we unfortunately have to cancel this year’s AHRC-TORCH Public Engagement with Research Summer School.

The annual Public Engagement with Research Summer School is a five-day programme of skills workshops, lectures, and small group sessions designed to give DPhils and ECRs the skills and resources to integrate public engagement into their research.

As an alternative to the summer school, we are now developing a Public Engagement with Research Online Course, with an anticipated launch date of Hilary Term 2021. Like the summer school, this course will enable participants to develop their own public engagement projects and broaden their understanding of the wealth of opportunities available for bringing their research to diverse audiences. If you are interested in innovating how your research is received or are curious about what opportunities exist for bringing your work beyond an academic setting, this online course is for you.

We are very excited to bring PERSS online. In order to tailor the course to your interests, we would love to hear from you!

What would you like to see covered during the course?

We would be grateful if you could let us know by completing a short survey. It will only take 5 minutes and will give you the opportunity to shape the PER online course.
