Oxford Lieder and TORCH are delighted to report on the success of their collaboration at this year's Oxford Lieder Festival: Connections Across Time - A Brief History of Song. To date we have attracted 24,000 views across the full Festival from 25 countries around the world, with audiences watching over two and a half years' worth of footage so far. The Festival has had a wide impact nationally and internationally, with performances on Radio 3 and coverage across national newspapers.

Our collaborative study events were viewed over 2,700 times and audience feedback has been extremely positive. Commenting on their experience of the Festival, one audience member stated that it was '...an amazing week of first class performances complemented by excellent introductions...we really felt we were given new insight into fascinating aspects of Song.'

This is a fantastic achievement, of which we are very proud - and we are very grateful for the support of the Humanities Cultural Programme which has made our collaborative study events possible.
