Oxford Lieder logo

Renowned recitalists, emerging talent, auditions for the next generation of star artists, masterclasses and more make up the Oxford Lieder Spring Weekend; a mid-year fix for song lovers.

For the evening recitals, we are delighted to welcome Katarina Karnéus and Julius Drake, former Oxford Lieder Young Artist Alessandro Fisher with Sholto Kynoch, and Christopher Maltman and Graham Johnson. A study day will be led by Laura Tunbridge, based around her acclaimed book ‘Singing in the Age of Anxiety’. The Young Artist Platform auditions will be adjudicated by Katarina Karnéus, Julius Drake and John Mark Ainsley, and John Mark Ainsley will give a public masterclass.

A full schedule will be announced shortly, but you can buy your Pass for the Spring Weekend now. Priced at £80, this represents a saving of more than 30% and offers convenient access to all events across the Weekend.

You will find the festival programme here.
