idahot

Join the Pitt Rivers Museum, TORCH, Rainbow Pilgrims and the Oxford Queer Studies Network for an evening of reflection on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT).

Help us to launch the Rainbow Pilgrims UK tour and be the first to view the exhibition and documentary as well as meet the team behind the project. You will also get a chance to explore the museum at night whilst hearing from activists, University staff and LGBTQ+ heritage organisations as well as those directly affected by LGBTQ+ persecution.

To register, please follow the link.

We will also be hosting a wonderful Queering the Museum workshop facilitated by the co-chairs of the V&A's LGBTQ working group prior to this event, booking essential:

A bit about Rainbow Pilgrims:
Rainbow Pilgrims is a groundbreaking pop-up exhibition exploring the ‘hidden history’ of LGBTQI migrant and travelling communities in Britain.
Visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in an oral history audio installation (bring your mobiles/tablets and earphones to maximise your experience!), watch a mini documentary and have a chat with the Rainbow Pilgrims team.
The Rainbow Pilgrims project is supported through the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and proudly hosted by Liberal Judaism.
