Join us for a walking tour of Oxford revealing various aspects of the University's involvement in Britain's imperial past and exploring the lives of the students who have mounted a challenge to the legacies of colonialism. Short talks from lecturers and research students will reveal a different side to the city including:

The tour will start at 1.15, and finish with refreshments in the History Faculty at 2.30, and a chance to hear about the first African American woman to study at Oxford.
