To coincide with the month-long return of the 'WW1 Indian Army' exhibition to the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum (where it was designed and created).

Learn about the history of the First World War from an Oxfordshire and Asian perspective.

Fun activities for kids of all ages, including Henna artistry, Indian food and a mini WW1 artefacts display by Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum. Plus, the chance to share your questions and WW1 family stories with History experts and student ambassadors from Oxford University.

Don't miss the special film screening of Akademi's 'THE TROTH' (14:00 - 16:00), which tells a gripping wartime story of love and loss through music and dance. Followed by Q&A with Deepraj Singh (Akademi), Dr Priya Atwal & Anveer Sodhi (Oxford).

It will also be the penultimate weekend to check out the Indian Army and Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire exhibition at the museum (which is on until 30th April 2018).

This event is free, and has kindly been supported by funding from Oxford University's Humanities and Undergraduate Admissions departments, and the Oxfordshire Community Foundation.
