TORCH - The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities, Humanities Divisional Office, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Oxford 
Grade 7: £32,817 - £40,322 p.a. PRO RATA 

The TORCH Operations Manager is a responsible, demanding and pivotal position, which offers the opportunity to work at the centre of TORCH, in the Humanities Divisional Office. The role will line manage the TORCH Team, as well as work on and develop collaborations through TORCH with the Head of Cultural Programming and Partnerships. This role will be at the centre of the development of research-led projects through TORCH, and ensure that the TORCH Team, activities and researchers are supported at the highest quality.
 
TORCH’s role is wide-ranging, and includes supporting seed-funded research networks and programmes, promoting and supporting knowledge exchange activity, external partnerships, and advising individual researchers. This role will also involve establishing and maintaining relationships with external partners, including, but not restricted to, research centres, museums, humanitarian entities or creative industry partners. It is essential for the postholder to develop a good understanding of the role of TORCH, its audiences, the roles within the TORCH Team, and oversee TORCH’s reach and connections with the Head of Cultural Programming and Partnerships.
