Workshop Series

Following the performance and exhibition of the Sound of Contagion outputs, on the 1st of December the three principal researchers will each host a workshop on their contributions to the project. These will be held in the Buttery at Wolfson College and attendees are welcome to attend all three of the workshops as each session is interconnected. Attendance is free and attendees are asked to apply to attend. Spaces are limited to 20 and we aim to include graduate students, DPhils, Post-docs and ECRs in our workshop sessions. 

 

Programme: 

  • 9am - Arrival and coffee/tea/pastries
  • 9.30am How to edit an AI 
  • 10.15 - Coffee and snacks
  • 10.30 - Narrative Probes and Designing New Worlds
  • 11.15 - Coffee
  • 11.30 - Making Music with Machines 
  • 12.15 - Break for general discussion over catered lunch 

Applications are welcome from graduate students, DPhils, Post-docs, ECRs, and members of the public with a proven interest in the topic covered.

 

Applications close: 10 November 2021, applicants will be notified within two days thereafter.
