Talk by artist Costanza Thom

Costanza Thom is a paper artist, graphic designer and book-binder based in London. She works with collage and texture making, and highly regards having a tactile quality and a human touch in her visuals. Her meticulously crafted and wonderfully colourful collage works, especially when the works represent food items like in ‘A Chat with a Pint’ and the cookbook ‘No Pressure Cooker,’ get viewers curious and thinking about how to visually represent food with a tactile element. 

 

Costanza will be joining the Critical Food Studies Network to talk about how she approaches her work, especially when the project has an alimentary focus, and she will be bringing her projects and demonstrate their tactility up close!
