Dr Diana Leca is the Robin Geffen Career Development Fellow in English at Keble College, Oxford. Her research focuses on modernist and contemporary literature, aesthetic philosophy, and critical theory. More particularly, she is interested in theories of short literary forms, such as the aphorism, as well as in questions of diminished or blocked expressivity. Her work engages the aesthetic theories of Theodor Adorno and Roland Barthes, amongst others. She completed her doctorate at St. John's College, Cambridge on the topic of literary minimalism.
