Francis Leneghan is Associate Professor of Old English and a Fellow of St Cross College. He works on the literature and culture of Anglo-Saxon England, and is especially interested in intersections between politics, religion, and literature in works such as Beowulf and vernacular writing associated with King Alfred the Great. He is a co-organiser of The Oxford Psalms Network. In conjunction with this network, he is currently co-editing a collection of essays entitled The Psalms and Medieval English Literature for Boydell and Brewer.
