Lillian is a doctoral student in English at the University of Oxford and runs the Oxford Critical Theory Network at TORCH. Supported by the Hertford-Faculty of English DPhil Studentship in Irish Literature, her thesis explores how the modernist writers Ibsen, Joyce and Beckett constitute concepts in Theodor Adorno’s critical theory. Beyond her doctorate, she is a TELOSthreads intern for Telos Journal, runs the Oxford University Ulysses Reading Group and has her first upcoming journal article in the Journal of Modern Literature.
