Thea Gomelauri

Thea Gomelauri is a scholar of the Hebrew Bible. She studied Inter-faith Relations with the Woolf Institute. Currently she is writing a reception history of King David’s end of life according to the Books of Kings and the Chronicle. Her research focuses on, and proposes a new reading of, the Succession Narrative. Her academic interests include the study of Psalms, as their creation was an integral part of King David’s life, and they provide a window into his soul.
