UK China Humanities Alliance

About
UK China

The University of Oxford China Centre, in collaboration with TORCH, invited doctoral students and early career scholars (up to 5 years post PhD) within the Arts and Humanities to apply for a short-term fellowship in China.

The fellowships were worth up to £2,500, and were funded by the British Council. These fellowships intended to support trips of c.2 weeks with the aim of deepening and broadening research links with Chinese academics and/or further individual research projects in archives and collections.

In this page, you can find the reports written by the doctoral students and the Early Career Researchers who were awarded one of the available fellowships. You can learn more about their research and how the fellowships allowed them to build broader foundations for it thanks to the links the could establish with Chinese institutions.
